I'm all for getting an offensive piece like OL or Barkley with the first pick, but man it would be tough passing this kid up. If we could actually start putting some pressure on the QB, the play of our whole defense would improve dramatically. Our d-line is pretty solid, the young secondary is showing some signs of growth; if we can find depth at those positions later in the draft after taking Landry, our D would be stout for a few years. Add in a FA wide receiver and oline help either in draft or FA and we are in business!

All you edge rusher fans, need to hope TB wins another, because NOBODY needs an infusion of talent at DE like they do and I don't see them winning another game this season. Their OL sucks too.
Fan of him and he fits our needs perfectly but lets hope the injuries won't bog him down.
The more we win, the more this guy becomes an option. He's exactly what we need coming off the edge.

This is true. He's a worse prospect, but a better fit than Chubb at LEO. I still hope we can get Nelson or Roquan Smith in the draft, but if we win another game, we may miss out on both.

Looking at the draft order, although it's high, anyone think Nelson goes to the Colts? Also if there a 3rd or 4th QB that emerges, we still have the trade down option. It's very slim, but with the Jets, Broncos, Cardinals, possibly the Bengals, Washington, and the Bills, someone could be looking to make a splash. The Jets, Broncos, and Bills almost don't have a choice. If a 3rd and maybe a 4th QB emerge, we could get some action at our pick.

Sadly I think they get to exploit a situation I was wanting for the niners, they will be sitting on the clock with Barkley and a QB there and will get multiple offers for a trade down and still can get Nelson to give Luck a chance to stay upright. The interesting thing for me now is Clevland has TWO top 5 picks, do they go Barkley #1 and take best QB after or get Rosen at #1 and see where the chips fall? I think we will stay with the #5, hoping someone wants Jackson and we trade back with Buffalo, perfect to grab Roquan Smith, Nelson, or Landy in that order.

Buffalo is way too late to draft Smith or Nelson and could be too late to draft Landry. Jackson is a wild card - he could be the #2 pick or no one may be interested in him in the top 10.

Giants at 2 could trade back if they don't like a QB which could result in Barkley going 2nd and Nelson going 3rd (assuming no one else likes Jackson that much). If Jackson makes it to 5th in a class this week at the top, it's because no one likes him that much so we shouldn't expect a huge haul.

Colts may not want to trade down so quick with a QB on the board. We have no idea if Luck will ever be the same again.

Depends on the coach who comes in and scheme but I see them going after Chubb.

I don't think they'll be ready to move on from Luck just yet. There is a chance that Darnold doesn't even come out this year and Cleveland will for sure go QB #1 so who do you reach for in the Top 3?

They're probably not but shoulder injuries are rough. He missed the whole season and needed to see a specialist and it sounds like there's possibility of having more surgery.

They've gotten pretty awfully lucky to draft so early when premier QB prospects are available do they dare gambling that Luck will be 100%? Will be something to keep an eye on for sure.

I think they gotta go QB.. I understand they have Brissett but Luck is not a for sure thing and you're not guaranteed to be in striking distance for a QB in the future.

They have Brissett and Luck, they haven't really started to rebuild yet (they are years from being competitive if Luck doesn't return at 100%) and there may not be 3 QBs in the draft who deserve to go top 10 let alone top 3, but somehow the Colts have to draft a QB with the 3rd overall pick? Yeah, I'm not buying it.

Brissett doesnt seem like franchise potential and if Lucks health is a question...then you might not even have one solid QB. Thats why i think it might be a 50/50. Who knows maybe they trade down and take one...compensate by getting extra picks.

Remember when Eagles had Bradford and Daniel both healthy?
