They're probably not but shoulder injuries are rough. He missed the whole season and needed to see a specialist and it sounds like there's possibility of having more surgery.
They've gotten pretty awfully lucky to draft so early when premier QB prospects are available do they dare gambling that Luck will be 100%? Will be something to keep an eye on for sure.
I think they gotta go QB.. I understand they have Brissett but Luck is not a for sure thing and you're not guaranteed to be in striking distance for a QB in the future.
They have Brissett and Luck, they haven't really started to rebuild yet (they are years from being competitive if Luck doesn't return at 100%) and there may not be 3 QBs in the draft who deserve to go top 10 let alone top 3, but somehow the Colts have to draft a QB with the 3rd overall pick? Yeah, I'm not buying it.
Brissett doesnt seem like franchise potential and if Lucks health is a question...then you might not even have one solid QB. Thats why i think it might be a 50/50. Who knows maybe they trade down and take one...compensate by getting extra picks.
Remember when Eagles had Bradford and Daniel both healthy?
And the Eagles were smart enough to not trust the bolded. That team has a lot of problems and although Luck's health is in question, I highly doubt they draft a QB right now with a high pick. The team is building that O-line. I'm not expecting us to win another game, so we could potentially get action at our pick still.

exactly why i dont care if we win the rest of the games and drop in the draft. This guy should be available. He is going to have a monster combine though so i hope he doesnt shoot up over Chubb

Landry is definitely in play now. Senior bowl and combine will be huge for him. He could easily jump his stock above where we are otherwise he's very in play.

Landry and Nelson seem to be slotted around where we'll be picking and address substantial needs.

I'm definitely getting more into the Landry being the pick category only because I think he makes a huge impact to our D and I think the interior OL position is deep in this draft and Jimmy/Kyle make our receivers look better than they are.
Give me Andrew Norwell and Ryan Jensen and either Aaron Colvin or Kyle Fuller at CB in FA.
Take Landry in the first. Ronald Jones in the 2nd. Frank Ragnow and Quenton Meeks in the 3rd and I'm good.

If we can anyone of those players, it would be great. All of them is nonsense. They'll probably command like 30% of a full salary cap (and they're not QBs)*
*slight exaggeration

How is that nonsense? We have plenty of cap room the G and C positions are not big money positions even if we paid them top dollar for their positions. Colvin and Fuller should not command the salaries Trumaine Johnson or Malcolm Butler command. If they ask for AJ Bouye type deal then I'm ok going with a cheaper signing and hoping for the best.

Yep, when we were higher I was tempted by Barkley and I was real intrigued by adding Ridley. Now, we could still go for Ridley but may be looking at Nelson or Landrey territory soon. I think we fix the OL with experience in FA. Also, WR's will want to come play with Jimmy. I hope for Allen Robinson. We also can get that other Corner in Johnson or Fuller. I think all the pass rushers get franchised. I'd think that is where we go in the 1st round and Landry is a great Leo fit. I like Jones in the 2nd too.
BC plays Wed night. Also, Landry will be great to see in the Senior Bowl.

Nelson is going to be drafted ahead of Ridley in all likelihood. He may be gone by the time we pick while Ridley will almost definitely be there, but would be a reach at 7.

Guess if we beat the rams we could be looking at 10-11.

Yup, that is looking more and more likely. I think Landry or Smith would make sense at that point.

Landry might be the guy. He fits what we need on the line. Even though we would be drafting d-line again, smart fans would know that he would fill a huge need.
