Damn. Oh well.. Get ready to tear up the senior bowl.

I dont mind guys doing this.. If its not a huge bowl game i think the young guys have a shot to show themselves for next year.

Don't think he's missing it due to injury concerns. I think he's actually beat up and not healthy enough to play.

Proof sir?

Good enough haha. But probs wants to ensure hes 100% for the senior bowl and not tweak it or somen in a meaningless bowl game.
I want this guy to be our pick. Where is he projected to go in the draft?

Probably before our pick at 11/12

This is the guy I am on as well. I think he can be a Bruce Irvin type player in our defense.

A lot of mocks I've seen have him right around our pick.

I think that's a good spot for him but he could get himself into the top 10 easily with a great senior bowl and combine.

Honestly one of the things I'm bummed out the most about us getting a bunch of extra wins isn't the draft pick being lower but the fact that our coaches won't be able to coach at the Senior Bowl. Lots of talent I would've loved for us to get a close look at.

But if we do wind up with #11 pick...let's hope it's as good to us as it was when we took Patrick Willis, or as good to us as when guys like Dwight Freeney, Ben Roethlisberger, DeMarcus Ware, JJ Watt, Marshon Lattimore were taken at #11.

Landry can be a game-wrecking pass rusher if he adds a counter inside move. That speed rush causes tackles to take deep pass sets, which sets them up for an inside counter. A counter swim, ice-pick, or a stab-to-shotput would make him a dangerous two-way edge rusher.

Any comparisons to Freeney or Mathis?.. Thats what came to mind when i read your post i remember people used to talk s**t about them too, but god they were animals. Poor Indy should had a couple more rings.

Really liked what i saw. Seems like someone that can be a 3 down player. What yall say, 3 down elephant or SAM in base then slide to DE in nickel?

Yes sir.

Get them leaning upfield with the speed and then stick 'em with the ice pick right in their back. Coach used to say this is one of those rare moments in like where backstabbing someone is a good thing.

The older i get the more i value football IQ. It took someone on the Lakers forum to bring up basketball IQ. If you got the IQ your mind and body work together to give you a chance of beating your guy on every snap/play.

Im becoming all in on Landry. Put him on the Aldon program his first year and tear it up in nickel as he learns to set the edge hopefully in 2019.

I think its easier to find someone to do a solid job at base SAM and then a guy like Elvis for example comes in for Harold/Marsh.

Landry and Elvis 2018. Take Haynes in the 3rd and groom him as a speed demon SAM Put his ass on steroids as long as possible, if he gets caught up well hopefully his cycle is complete lol.

I see they (draft scouts) are comparing him to Vic Beasley....
