Finally got a chance to see the Titan's coaching tape. This is Harold Landry's first snap as a pro in the NFL regular season. Shot out of a motherf**king cannon. He smokes the left tackle.

Landry affected the QB more in one game than any edge rusher has around here since Aldon Smith

Ugh, that lean...

Wonder where all the s**t-talking yahoos are now? I was surprised Landry dropped into the mid 2nd. I was not surprised that dudes who never watched any footage of him had a great time enjoying his drop into the 2nd day. NFL is so in love with size. What a huge miss.

We had Baalke for too long, we should be used to misses.

You guys can't be serious. Tape shows everything we could want as an outside rusher but ya go by the stats

We already have a bunch of guys who get close but can't finish with a sack. Go watch the first 3 weeks... Littered with them!

lol Marsh doesn't get close to anything....Thomas isn't a edge rusher. Landry would be worlds better then either of them on the outside. Look how he get's Watson off his stance and pushes him inside. WE NEED THAT.

True but even Baalke lucked out on Buckner (inside) and Aldon (outside). He also got Ahmad Brooks and Aaron Lynch.

John Lynch needs to step up.

Baalke had the right idea but poor execution. Draft pass rushers early and often.

Baalke had Fangio influence his decisions with all but Buckner and he was drafted as an elite 3-4 DE to set the edge so I don't give Baalke too much credit there

Every blind squirrel finds an acorn. Agee that Lunch does need to step it up, but Baalke's failures were epic. From 2011 to 2015, 32 of his 62 picks were outright released from SF. 9 of his 62 stuck with the team. Granted some moved on to other teams and some were deadbeats. But wow, no wonder this franchise is behind the curve.

This is the crucial point. Imagine Lynch drafting for Saleh.

One guy's miss ends up as another guy's sack--the problem is we have only one "guy" and no one else to clean up on the outside (or anyone to "miss" on the outside and get Buckner a sack)
What a stud. Absolutely smokes Lane Johnson.

You're right we couldn't have used this today

Man that's tough to watch. I remember debating so many guys In this thread who were saying Landry couldn't hang with NFL left tackles. And here he is beating a number 4 pick all pro left tackle for the defending super bowl champs lol.
