Harold Landry Boston College DE/OLB

Such bizarre logic. If you hate that the FO didn't do anything in the ER department, then you should understand why fans still b***h about it. And then you complain there weren't many moves to be made in the very thread where we COULD have made a move. Your Mack-logic follows suit.

Eli Harold has 3 sacks. FO missing on all these "sack artists".

LOL. Posting before watching. It was an inside move sack.

That's how confident I was, and it wasn't an inside move he got blocked there, about as skilful as Solly's sack last week.

LOL, it's still an inside rush. I get your stance though that coming out of college he was primarily just a speed rusher. He'll certainly have to learn counters like any raw ER.
I love the way every time a guy makes a big play in college or pro we instantly get people posting about how we should draft him or should have gotten him in last years draft. How many fans of other teams are saying that about Kittle or Breida.

Some of you dudes are something else. I liked Landry coming out. And I'm sure he'll be fine...someday.

But to act like a dude who is on pace for a whopping 4 sacks is like some crazy miss by this front office is mind blowing. I guess we should've drafted Roquan Sm...*checks game tape*...I mean, Derwin James.

There are plenty of things to criticize this front office about. Passing on Harold Landry is not one of them. Another example of Webzone hype outpacing the reality of what the guy could live up to.

Thank you. Spoken like a veteran.

I wouldn't call it an inside move. Elliott chip blocks him back inside past the path of Collins and he has a straight line to the QB. Landry really didn't do all that much to make it happen. More circumstance.
LOL, the defenders of all FO (in)actions are in full force after a huge win against the Raiders.

You can go back a few pages to get some insight on his rookie impact. He would be huge for us.

Landry - 72.3 PFF (Good)
Marsh - 58.2

But yeah...we're good because we played against Ian Silberman (off the bench) and Kelechi Osemele (in-game move to T).

lol the box score watchers can't wrap their heads around the idea that someone can impact the game as a pass rusher without the huge sack numbers.

mmm yes, the DeForest Buckner is strong in you. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and DeForest Buckner webzone analysis.

You're right. Landry impacts the game so much it allows other rushers to get to the quarterback with the fervor to which you allude.

*checks team sacks*

They're 24th.

Sacks aren't everything. You can force QBs into bad decisions/throws pressuring him.

They're the #1 defense in the NFL in points and 8th in yards allowed...clearly they're doing something right.

Yes, THEY are. I'm not sure why Landry is getting credit for that. He's only on the field for 48% of their snaps.

I like Landry. But people are massively overstating his contribution in 2018. He's a bit player. He could go down for the season and their defense would be the same.
