9 sacks for Harold Landry this year...been a fun watch on tape too. Lot of teams dropped the ball letting him fall

but he was picked way before pettis was. The only way the 49ers could have drafted him is if they didn't pick MCG or didn't trade for Jimmy G.

That's incorrect nothing to do with Getting either of those guys.
The capitol we used to trade up for Pettis was more then what was used to get Landry.

Terrible post. Also, it's spelled "capital".
In regards to your post, Landry was taken 2 spots ahead of Pettis. This means the Niners would have to give up MORE draft capital to move higher up the board
Also, you're assuming that Tennessee was even remotely interested in trading with us.

I've seen enough of your posts to know that you shouldn't be calling anyone's terrible.
Now the facts, that was not Tennessee's original pick to trade. They traded up to the Raiders #41 pick using there #57 & #89 draft value chart says 475 points
Which is between pick #42-43.
We traded up to Washington's #44 also getting #142 using our #59 & #74 net value is 495 points which the value is between #40-41.
So we gave up more value then Tennessee did to pick 3 spots behind.
Now the Raiders just may not have wanted to deal with us. I suspect Shanny just wasn't interested in Landry and had his sights set on Pettis and as he has shown to do over paid for him.

Everyone sad we missed out on Landry need to understand that if we drafted him we probably win another game or 2, thus killing our chances of selecting Bosa this season. Look how many close games we lost last season and we had zero edge rush.
