USC QB..... COME ON YALL.... M Cassell, M Lienhart, M Sanchez, Dani. Booty...... I'll pass His throwing motion alone should throw you off

Quick question when was the last time UCLA had a successful NFL quarterback again? That i recall that was Aikman back in 88'
same can be said for USC

Carson Palmer?

If you ever want to shut down this conversation... Just ask the guy that states "USC QB's blah blah blah", which school is QB U.... then ask them, "when was the last time a Starting USC QB wasn't drafted"....

True.

I think the success of a QB in the NFL has more to do with WHO drafts them vs what college they went to

Since when does playing at a certain school determine how a player will perform at the next level? I can agree his throwing mechincs need work but because he's playing at USC we shouldn't draft him. That's like saying well we shouldn't get Saquan Barkley from Penn State cause Larry Johnson only had 1 good year as a pro.

i dont really have too much issue with mechanics i think hes pretty advanced for a prospect

Worth skipping Kirk Cousins?

Carson Wenz is making K.Cousins look pedestrian. We DO NOT want a mediocre money pit in Cousins.
Darnold was impressive last night. Dude can make throws.
So far what I've seen, I like Rosen better than Darnold. Rosen seems to fit our offense better. He seems to make better decisions and have a stronger arm. I can't say I would be disappointed with either. We would need better receivers with Darnold. These guys are going 1 and 2 in the draft.

Fun as hell to watch and easy to want that dynamic play making ability. But I just do not want a QB who has been able to rely on his speed to compensate lack of reading a defense. Cause when it gets to the NFL your reads get sped up so taking off running happens more and more frequent
As ugly as the mechanics are, Darnold is so f**king exciting to watch. I'm rewatching the game versus Stanford. The kid is dynamic.

I agree; Darnold has a LOT of Farvre in him... Including those picks . He's the best QB I've seen at SC since Palmer... just hope he doesn't get in the habit of ill advised throws. Those types of things should have cost the Stanford game... They will definitely be an issue if not corrected with Wazzu, Utah and a resurgent UCLA; not to mention a Notre Dame team that at any moment can pull their heads out of their butts and become problematic.

Long season for all the top QB's
