Missing 3 o line against one of the better PAC 12 d lines didn't help
Overall not a great performance and people are jumping off the bandwagon.
IMO the reality is it's too early to pass judgement on the kid. A lot of football left to be played.

He never said he was coming out. The media says that. NFL people think hell return https://t.co/8J2JS27eNI

Darnold's mechanics are an absolute mess.
No pressure, wide open WR and Darnold sails this pass. These sloppy passes are far too common. Very Bortles-esque pic.twitter.com/DGzOpX9bTi

Are you saying Darnolds better than Hoyer and Rosen or that Rosen and Darnold are better than Hoyer.

Darnold is 1000% the leader that Leaf never was.

It wouldnt be the WZ if people didnt overreact each and every game. In reality, both Rosen and Darnold would be huge upgrades over what the Niners have now. Rosen is the better pocket passer with better mechanics while Darnold is pretty special at making things happen when he is on the run. I dont know if Shanahan will have either at his disposal next year but they sure as hell wont have Hoyer as the starting QB

I'd take Rosen and Rudolph before darnold. It's a toss up between darnold and falk. Falk may have the better NFL career, but Darnold has a higher perceived ceiling.

A better Bortles. I think he has the intangibles, but damn his mechanics are a mess. Who the f**k taught him how to quarterback lol.

I don't think so.....That elongated throwing motion alone is going to cause a problem on the next level.

NFL Media's Bucky Brooks called USC redshirt sophomore QB Sam Darnold's seven interceptions in four games "alarming."
Since the piece posted, Darnold threw another interception against Washington State in a loss. Brooks attributes many of the interceptions to attempted "hero throws" on outside of structure plays. As a whole, Brooks says the 2018 class is looking similar to the 2017 class at quarterback, featuring developmental types at quarterback.
