Sam Darnold

He isn't leaving. It's been reported by multiple credible people. Better to start evaluating the class without Darnold.

So, as an act of self loathing, I watched the entire Notre Damn game. I'm a Trojan, but I can't ignore what I've been seeing all year and on full display this last Saturday. Darnold can't come out. The guy is a turnover machine right now and has to figure it out. I don't know what changed from last year, but this year, holy crap. First SNAP on the FIRST Offensive position, FUMBLE. It wasn't a bad snap, but now, he may need to go under center. The guy's head is all screwed up. They also need to put in a FB or Second RB as the line is a complete mess and having an extra blocker may not be a bad idea.

Oh, and Fire Tee Martin... the guy can recruit but holy geeze is his offense a complete mess.

I think there's a wide perception that he's kind of an ass. It is something he'll have to overcome in team and media interviews in the offseason.

Well thats fair, from what I read he seems kind of pretentious. But isn't Kyle known for being an ass? I his personality will resonate with Kyle lol.

As for Darnold, its obvious that he is not ready for the NFL, plus he could still be the top dog for next years draft. Or he could still declare and have him strictly on the bench to rework his mechanics. I imagine him going to the saints, almost a match made in heavan. Brees can have one last huurah while him and Payton help Darnold with his mechanics.

Well since Kyle Shanahan studies Xs and Os so long so if a player has any question he will have an answer. And part of Rosen being a jerk is cause he questions everything.

Clearly the best QB prospect and it looks like he will not declare. Awesome

Ummm, I've watched EVERY USC game much to my extreme displeasure and NO Darnold is NOT ready for the NFL. I've never seen a QB regress this badly... and I watched Matt Barkley stink it up... If Darnold declares, he better sit 3 of the 4 years of his rookie contract and hope he gets the fifth year option. 2016 Sam has yet to emerge this season.

Now, to temper the assessment, his receivers were dropping balls in the first half of the season and his line forgot how to block in the second half. His OC has always been s**t... he's been extra s**tty this year.
