If I were him I would declare. If he continues to throw picks and fumbles he could tumble down the draft board. Though I do understand why he would wanna stay. As long as he does clean up his mechanics and his turnovers.

TOs aside on ESPN they pretty much said he was getting harassed all night but flashed and still made some great throws.

QB is the most scrutinized position in all of sports. If projected as a top pick you declare without hesitation imo as returning only increases the chance of tumbling like you mentioned. I don't buy the further developing in college argument. I mean can they not develop in the NFL WTF??? I'd argue that it's actually better to develop in the pros and an extra year in the NFL is much more beneficial than an extra year in college

I agree, the only problem is that he'd be likely to get thrown out there to play too soon. If he got 3 years to sit and learn I think he'd be a superstar, but who would be prepared to wait that long?

Yeah i never understood the notion of developing your craft in college. In the pros you are gonna have full attention to honing your craft instead of getting distracted by school. You will have pro coaching and will have the money to afford top trainers. It's not always gonna be the case. I understand if you're not projected to go high and want to go one more season before cracking the nfl.

No way they get that lucky again! Far too many needy teams to allow that to happen, someone else would grab him and play him too early.
If they somehow did manage it though they would have another seemless translation of greatness IMO

I was convinced he'd go back to school! This is great news, our pick is more valuable and furthers the chances of getting a stud

Going to be an interesting draft with 4 of the teams in the top 10 needing a QB

Happy in that this pushes a certain top 7-8 player for us, but I don't think this guy is ready. Best case for him is NY if he can sit behind Eli. If he gets stuck with Hue Jackson it will be a mess, especially since he is almost guaranteed to be learning a new system in his 2nd year after Jackson gets canned.

Thank god, I thought they'd stay in school.
