USC isn't as loaded as it once was. Palmer was a very good pro. Leinart went 1st round and busted but their other guys were highly touted HS prospects, not like they have a bunch of 1st round QBs that busted. The top HS kids often don't end up being the top college players. The kid is a baller, whether we have a chance to draft him or not, he makes big plays and wins games.

They were loaded last year but lost alot of good talent in the draft.

One of them has to be our franchise Qb of the future.

Most overrated player I've seen in awhile. Not a fan of his or Josh Allen.

Watched a little more Sam Darnold, and I have to say that I like Rosen's game a lot better so far. Darnold looks smart & coordinated, which were the qualities I like in Connor Cook, but the dude looks even more heavy-footed than Rosen, and Darnold's delivery is not pretty at all; it's long. Dude's got a Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar-like sky hook thing going on; I foresee a lot of fumbles. He also doesn't seem as accurate as Rosen (or Trubisky).
In fact, I might like Trubisky better than either one; although Rosen is better in some areas. I definitely like Jared Goff more than Darnold so far.
Still have more games to watch though...
Oh, and please spare me the "rookies are busts" posts because that's ret**ded. Calling a QB a finished product after his rookie season shows you're clueless about how they develop.

Looking at Darnold clips at youtube and im still questioning how the f**k you throw the ball like he does lol. I can see how Rivers does it but Darnold is like a hook shot.

Eh Rosen is the best out of those 3. At least for right now. Trubisky and Darnold are really unkown because of their lack of game experience.

Darnold is 1000x better than Kaaya. Things can change but Kaaya is nowhere near Darnold in terms of ability

I find the hate for Darnald absolutely hilarious. Best part as it doesn't bother me at all as I'm USC alumni and get to watch him throwing for USC next year and not someone else.
People should really think about this very important response to a very open question to a USC guy/girl.
USC!

- Q - What's the worst thing that can happen next year to USC?
- A - Darnald goes down...
USC!

Darnold is the prototypical NFL QB. Has all the tools that make up a starter in the NFL and has all the tools you look for in a #1 overall pick. I compare him more to Matt Ryan than Andrew Luck. I can only pray that Darnold, Rosen and Allen declare for the draft, but I don't see the 49ers taking a QB again in round 1 just a feeling I get.

He reminds me a lot of Luck. The thing I like most about the kid is he's as comfortable in the pocket as he is on the run. He doesn't get happy feet and keeps his eyes down field when defenders get close.
On top of all that (and this is his most "Luck" like trait) he spreads the ball around. He really doesn't have a preferred target. If you get open, you get the ball. Something I haven't seen with SC QB's since Leinart and Palmer.

There are gonna be 3-4 qb threads this year that will get massive and people will spend hours going over which one is best and on and on......then we gonna sign cousins and it won't matter.
That being said I will be one of those people.
