He's visiting us today via Ian Rapoport.

Don't see how we could pull the trigger on him unless it's 4th round or later.
I agree...if we take this kid in the first 3 rounds with what's happened with Reuben I'd be very surprised.

They could try to strike lightning in a bottle...obviously easier to cut a 3rd/4th rounder than a first round pick but I think we can find good players in those rounds and would rather go with someone with a much lower chance of being a lazy bust.
On this guy's character issue, is it commitment or violence?

Commitment but Foster didn't have any history of violence either. Aldon Smith didn't have history of alcohol abuse or DV....look at him now.

Foster somewhat did, he had an argument with that medical staff and got in his face. Aldon Smith was just bad luck
Before anyone freaks out to much 49ers drafted 3 of the 30 visits they had last year.

The combine altercation was more stupidity than violence. Don't think he put his hands on that guy but they clearly got into it. I'm sure it was a power trip on both sides and the nurse probably egged him on.

You never know with these guys though. Frank Clark, Tyreek Hill and others had assault/DV cases and at least so far have kept themselves out of trouble.

Foster seems like a good dude but his decision making is awful and he's probably not doing himself any favors with the positions he puts himself in when away from football.

It's very unfortunate and things like this make the draft so much harder. You can have guys with great film, great football instincts but off the field they just can't keep it together.

IMO with a guy like Key you're taking a big risk drafting him. If you want to swing for the fences and hope for the best then you do it...but doing it too early is a gamble.

I understand, 4-7 round I'd take a chance.
Anyone else get the Randy Gregory vibes from him or is it just me?
