Arden Key-DE/OLB-LSU

Key is going round two at the earliest only because of his character concerns. The risk factor is baked into his draft stock. If we miss, we miss. If we don't, we don't.

cause lynch talked about the culture he wants and having players you can be proud of. To be fair he did reel it back and said you can't field a team of choir boys and i am glad he acknowledges that. That said, i'm not a huge fan of key, but if we draft him and he gives us stud production and he's a little bit of a character, i'll be more than okay with that.

People took culture change and twisted it around to what "they" think that means....something peters/lynch have been on record saying is they want football character players, they want guys that care most about winning and giving 100% when on the field. Peters even stated that's different then how they look at off field stuff.

Every single team wants clean players, but it's not realistic (if you want to win).

That's why Foster was looked at so highly because his football character, dude is a machine out on the field and the locker room loves him. They knew about the red flag s**t and we're willing to deal with the repercussions.

We will see how they continue to draft...I think it would be wrong to just cross off every single red flagged player, each situation show be looked at individually.

GMs gamble all the time. look at the eagles, they traded for 2 players that got in trouble with the law before any otas started. i'm probably just thinking inside the webzone bubble and don't wanna deal with the negative nancies if we draft another red flag player

Yeah, but the Webzone isn't real life. People get internet mad and then move on the second a dude catches a TD, gets a sack, whatever. With draft prospects... people align themselves strongly with one player for no good reason. It's just a recipe for disappointment. "Safe" picks bust every year. "Risky" picks boom every year. And vice versa.

good post NY. Its amazing to see the difference between locker room foster and off the field foster. it's like him turning into the incredible hulk.

maybe we should hire scarlett johansson and tell her to say "suns getting real low big guy" everytime he wants to do something stupid.

Key's on field effort issues are a bigger deal than his off field concerns.

my problem is that he left the team after a while and ballooned up to 270, i hear it was cause of an injury and that he is back to his playing weight, but i haven't heard why he left the team?
Did Arden Key have effort issues in 2015/2016?

I didn't see much of him those years. I guess I will now that it's looking like there's a good chance he'll be a 49er.

I think the only thing he's said about it was that he is telling teams the unedited truth. Though, as far as I can tell, the rest of us are still in the dark.

There could be a line connecting both I feel like there was also an issue between him and LSU and how they/he handled his shoulder issues

I thought he left the team and went to rehab for the weed. (Hero posted an article in here somewhere).
I just finished his 2016 game vs. Ole Miss. The effort was good throughout the entire game. One down!

Key has an unorthodox rushing style. "Slithery" is the best to describe it. His game, like Landry, is primarily dependent on attacking the arc. Don't see much hand usage or inside moves.

He got hit with the rock bottom.

Casserly and Mayock also spoke highly of his handwork...do you see the same?
