I will be very pleased if they have the balls to do this. Not going to be popular with the fanbase though.
I wouldn't be mad at drafting this guy

Gotta get out of the bottom 6 in the league in sacks somehow.

HORRIFIC

this guy has a shot of being a niner. but imagine trading up for landry and still getting key with one of our 3rds we didn't trade away overkill? maybe but we need pass rush so bad and the eagles proved that you can't have enough pass rushers. with the qbs in our division, we need em more than ever.
I still want Landry...and will want him until another team drafts him ahead of us. Unfortunately I think that will happen early tonight. I just hope if he's not on our team by tomorrow he's not on a division rival or NFC rival.

I wanted nothing to do with Key and I can't say I'd love to see him drafted if we stay at #59 but I wouldn't hate the pick there if we did. I hate the idea of taking the defensive version of Joe Williams. That pick didn't work out so hot and with the Foster headaches I don't want Aldon Smith 2.0...but it may be worth taking the chance.
Just exactly what did he do that was a bit "worrisome". Is it attitude or something substantial, and when was whatever it was? And still a problem?

Sounds like:
- He had a drinking/marijuana/party problem.
- His family pulled out and put him in rehab.
This was all in the past year. He also had shoulder surgery, so 2017 was all over the place for him on and off the field.

As for whether it's a problem, IMO it's always going to be a concern until a guy shows that he's become a new man. I do think an eye needs to be kept on him. One positive might be that he does seem to love football (IMO). That might be a starting point to keep him on the right track.

I think I read something somewhere saying he hasn't failed a drug test in a yr.

After I saw this

It made me serious think they will be going hard for him
I actually want Arden Key today - going into this year he was a bonafide top 5 talent. I get it he regressed, had a weight issue and walked away but if he really did it to voluntarily go to rehab and just got bad advice about the weight I don't see how people can hate the pick so much if we grab him with one of our 3rds. Impact pass rushers aren't available after rd 1 without red flags so have to take a gamble for an upside player after taking the lesser/safe player in rd1.

You won't get a bigger potential player at a position of need on day 2. If we can get him with one of our 3rds I don't see why we shouldn't take the risk.
