I agree, but the Davenport hype is worse. Landry is the prototypical LEO for our scheme, yet everyone wants Davenport because he's 6'5" and ran a fast 40. Not attributes we need, we need quickness, bend and technique.
I'll take Chubb if he's there at 9 it otherwise it's Landry all the way.
I couldn't even take Chubb at 9. Wasn't part of the problem we had last year was that our guys could put pressure on the QB, but couldn't seal the deal? This IMO is partially why the Landry hype is so huge. While I'm in favor of taking Roquan Smith over any, Landry makes sense if pass rusher is the pick at 9.
