Bradley Chubb DE North Carolina State

"3-4" makes little difference. It's 2018. Nobody plays a true 3-4. Besides, Chubb is excellent out of a two-point stance and moves exceptionally well in space.

Chubb, like Bosa, is scheme flexible and would dominate in any scheme. I still think they should grab a QB, but if they don't, Chubb is the best alternative.

If Giants go Chubb at #2 then they're really dumb.

He'll be a great player but you either take a bounty to move down from #2 if you're not taking QB or you take the QB...
FWIW

I will refuse to believe the giants are taking anyone other than Rosen until draft day.
So maybe they go Chubb then lol. But they should take a QB unless they plan on sucking again this year and drafting in the top 3 next year as well.

Cuz Eli sucks and is nearing the end.

Charlie Campbell (take with a grain of salt) from Walter Football reported as recently as this week that the Browns preference is Barkley with a QB for their 2 1st rounders.

If the GMen think Elisha still has gas in the tank, that's on them.

I doubt they are taking Barkley. They want to go QB at 1 and defense at 4.

I don't. Barkley has the potential to be very special and lends himself well to Gordon and Landry in the pass game. Would give Cleveland some real offensive weapons and to have gotten their preferred QB in this class and the best consensus top prospects in the last 2 draft classes.
The Giants traded JPP for a reason...to save @ $11M in cap space and to replace him w/Chubb. They're not taking a QB st #2!!

I agree but if Chubb is the #1 player on their draft board, it's not a bad pick. I do think if they are not taking the QB then the bounty is their best play but said bounty needs to include a 2019 1st round pick. That pick could be necessary ammo towards getting your next QB, might as well stockpile some ammo because QB is a definitive need for them.

I understand having a chubb for Chubb but I think them placing faith in Eli is dumb and it will bite them in the ass.

They should draft a QB when they have the chance and IMO they'll have a chance at the best one in this class with Rosen. Passing on him to replace JPP...who they could've kept doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

They'll be one of the teams desperate for a QB within a year or two. We've seen what it takes for those teams to climb up to draft one when they're not picking high and I don't see the Giants drafting that high for a little bit.

Yeah, Giants have been exposed - they're taking Chubb.

Cleveland already has Hyde and Johnson it would be a better use of a top 5 pick to improve the defense.

They already turned down 3 2nds to move to 6...maybe they think they can get more but they're gambling there.

If they didn't want a qb they should have taken that deal imo, Rosen should be the pick but wouldn't be shocked if it's Chubb...I don't think gettleman is a great GM so whatever lol.

Hyde is basically on a 1 yr deal and as of now duke is a FA in a yr.

They can go in a ton of different directions, I don't see Barkley out of the picture either.
