Not so fast buddy.
Either way, he won't last until 9. We will not get Chubb unless we trade up, bud.

If Giants go Chubb at #2 then they're really dumb.
He'll be a great player but you either take a bounty to move down from #2 if you're not taking QB or you take the QB...

Cleveland already has Hyde and Johnson it would be a better use of a top 5 pick to improve the defense.
Hyde is basically on a 1 yr deal and as of now duke is a FA in a yr.
They can go in a ton of different directions, I don't see Barkley out of the picture either.

1. Johnson and Cleveland are working on an extension.
2. Every running back is basically on a one year deal. Doesn't mean the plan is to cut him in a year.
So why draft a RB early when you dont need to do it?

To hopefully upgrade? Hyde hasn't proven to be the most durable and has yet to reach 1000 yards.
Originally posted by jcs:Yep, as much as I'm hoping they choose a QB due to Eli's age, I think they are going defense because they think Eli has some gas left. Just a guess, but *They* being ownership most likely, vs the coaching staff.

Cleveland wouldnt like that.
Now that the Giants have traded Jason Pierre-Paul to the Buccaneers, maybe they consider Bradley Chubb at No. 2.

I can actually make a case for Chubb to be available at #9 now, I still think he goes to the Colts at 6, but they could go in many directions including another trade down.
I couldn't see him possibly getting passed the Bucs, but now they have JPP and Curry I could see them going to their secondary or maybe even Nelson.
Going to be some draft.

I think the Colts will either trade down or take Nelson if he's there. It would cost us our 2nd and our 1st to move up to the 6th spot at least but if Chubb is there and the colts are willing I say pull the trigger.

Why would they have signed him then?
