I would grade Chubb higher, but I like Landry better in our scheme.

As a pure elephant or SAM that slides to DE in nickel? Do you grade Chubb higher in both roles?

I absolutely love Chubb. Wouldn't be upset in the least if we took him in the top 5.
While Calvin Ridley is my #1 overall player, Mr. Chubb isn't too far behind because I believe both have all-pro potential. Neither are flashy or have great measurables, but that doesn't seem to stop them.
John Lynch was that same type of player, so I hope he values that over all else.

Definitely all in pass rusher but Ridley is making it really tough lol.

Chubb is so impressive. When you've got length, athleticism and hand use like this, you're going to be a problem at the NFL level. He looks like Aldon here.

I absolutely love this kid. I see all-pro potential in him and a player who will rack up 10+ sacks a season. If we don't take my favorite overall player in Ridley, then there is no one else I'd rather take in the top 10, but really I'm thinking he'll go in the top 3-5 as the #1 pass rusher selected.

Good hand usage, but it doesn't look like he has anywhere near Aldon Smith's arm length (if I had to guess, he's in the 33-34" range with an average ability to bend). At 6'2-6'3 270 guy is closer to Solomon Thomas than Aldon Smith or Von Miller. Landry is a better scheme fit at LEO and I'm not sure how Chubb would do at SAM.
In a weak draft class, Chubb may get pushed to the top 5 or 10 picks, but he's not an elite prospect like Aldon Smith. Nice bull rush, but that LT is trash and Chubb doesn't look at all like Aldon Smith who has freakish length for the position.
