Yeah, I would say this is more along the lines of a reason to declare after a successful Junior season and the chance you take going back Senior year.

Most players that come back don't get injured. The bigger risk is that they don't have as good a season and their draft stock drops. Sometimes it goes up. Football is always a risk which is why Kyler Murrey should stay with baseball. He might do alright but he may get a serious injury in his first season and never be able to even play baseball.

I thought he was a first rounder last year. It's a shame.

Only John Lynch saw him as a 1st rounder, still does.
#2 overall

What class where they playing footsie in together?

So bump for this guy. From what I remember he's better than Barkley and McCaffery.

Not as good as either one. He's basically a one cut guy who hits the hole quickly. In college he can use his speed to outrun the defense. Pro LB's and DB's are much faster and the holes are much smaller. He's not as big as McCaffery and doesn't have his receiving ability. Barkley is much bigger and more durable.

Yeah man unfortunately for Love he got injured AND played worse this season. Feel for the kid. Shoot sign me up if we can get him undrafted
I'm all in favor of RBs declaring after junior year. They are the ones who has the shortest shelf life in the NFL.

Players need to pull a Bosa. It's the only smart thing to do. Love had PLENTY of tape.

That said — wouldn't mind him as a 7th or UDFA that we can PUP. :)

Stanford degree will all but guarantee him life after football though.

He's done. Some guys just never come back the same after a blown out knee and I wonder if his head is even in it considering how he's already talking about going back to school.
