Edmunds might eventually be a better linebacker than Roquan. He isn't one right now. You're basically drafting him hoping that he can eventually perform at the same level in terms of play recognition and real time processing.
What are basing he's not good taking blockers from? He's shown the ability to do so on tape. Which I have yet to see from Roquan.
What matters the most is if he can beat the lineman to the spot. They both can, but Edmunds is just better at it
