Assuming 4qb go, is he top 4 player? hmmmm Id say Chubb, Barkley, Nelson are top 3 then 4 it really does open up. If only 3 qb go and not a lot of trades..... sigh...
Greg Gabriel's breakdown on Roquan.

Roquan Smith Linebacker
Georgia
Year: Junior Height: 6-1Weight: 236 40-Yard: 4.51 Arm: 32 Hand: 10
Bench: N/A Vertical: N/ABroad: N/A 3-Cone: N/A 20-Yard Shuttle: N/A 60-Yard Shuttle: N/A

Strong Points: Very productive two-year starter (124 total tackles last season). Quick reactor with top instincts. Makes plays vs. both inside and outside runs. Good in coverage and can play man or zone. Reacts well to the ball in the air. Physical for his size. Strong tackler. Takes on and sheds blocks well. Had some dominating plays in CFP semifinal game. Very good athlete with speed, change of direction and body control.

Weak Points: A bit undersized, but has frame to carry more weight. He usually sheds very quickly but can get engulfed at times. Lower legs are a bit lean.

The Way We See It: A third-year junior and a two-year starter, Smith is a top competitor who plays an aggressive game. Very productive, with 95 total tackles in '16 and 124 in '17. Will never come off the field in the NFL, as he does a good job in coverage. Lacks ideal size, but he can get bigger. Very instinctive and sniffs plays out. One of the best defensive players on the field in CFP semifinal game against Oklahoma. Should be able to play in either a 4-3 or 3-4. Can play either inside position in a 3-4 and "Mike" or "Will" in a 4-3. Will be a high draft pick and should start right away. Love his on-field demeanor.

Yeah, I'm a Raquan man, but wouldn't be upset if it was Landry.

For the most part I don't think it matters, but if the 9ers want Smith I think it's in their best interest for only 3 QBs to go in the top five, as that means that the teams which might be interested in Smith (Colts at 6 and Bears at 8) might trade out so that someone else can take the 4th QB.
Since I don't think Foster will play for us again I prefer Roquan now should we go lb. Keeps the same coverage Foster had, instant impact, safer pick.
