Surprise sus getting ready to roast any pick we make

Who's your guy?

barkely
chubb
nelson

after that i think there is a huge drop off.

Lol of course you pick players that have next to no shot at dropping to 9
Derrick Brooks trigger warning again.

If new coach Matt Nagy is serious about upholding the traditions of the Bears, he will be especially interested in Smith, who could be a worthy successor to the team's Hall of Fame lineage at the middle linebacker position. Three front office men I spoke with compared Smith to Ray Lewis, and another brought up Derrick Brooks' name.

"He's my favorite inside linebacker I've seen in quite awhile," one front office man said. "He will be a hell of an NFL player."

At 6-foot-1, 236 pounds, Smith doesn't have prototype size for the position. Neither did Mike Singletary. Smith makes up for lack of size with great instincts and explosiveness.

"He's a bulldog, in your face," the college scouting director said. "He's hardcore. He finds the ball."

If the Colts take Roquan at #6, I'm going to .
Let's not over think this....just take him
I'm already mentally preparing myself to the fact he will not be there for our pick.

He's getting massive hype. Deservedly so. People are comparing him to PWilly now.

IF Roquan goes before our pick I pray that TB takes a DB so one of Barkley, Nelson or Chubb falls to us.

The Bob McGinn breakdown of Roquan is one of the most positive that I've seen.

1. ROQUAN SMITH, Georgia (6-1, 234, 4.53, 1): Third-year junior. "Plays the game the right way," one scout said. "Smart as hell. Plays his ass off. Fast. Space guy, just flies around. Real instinctive. Just little and kind of straight-line fast. Not as explosive as Ryan Shazier. Not a take-on type guy. In the modern game he'll fit in well." Another scout said he was better than Atlanta's Deion Jones. "He's probably more explosive than (Tremaine) Edmunds but can't carry as much range," he said. "He's country. He is an articulate, smart, driven person." Out of Montezuma, Ga. "He's a ball-playing Jesus," a third scout said. "He can run, he can hit, he can cover. He can run the defense. If you can live with him being 6-foot tall you're going to have yourself a really good player. He's got zone instincts and awareness. Only thing you don't like about the kid is his height. Look at the size of tight ends and wide receivers, and he has to try and cover those guys?"

why would you care? You already proclaimed that Fitzpatrick was your pick at #9. Oh wait, that was yesterday.

hehhehe, I think he may go right before us :( . You can argue Edmunds etc, but lets be real, you draft this kid you plug him in and just enjoy the show.

It's really close. I've read the Colts really like Edmunds too.
