I guarantee if Bosa was seriously hurt these same people would be grand standing saying "I told you so". I'm glad QW isn't seriously hurt but there is a little bit of humor in the fact Bosa fans kept saying "it's a contact sport anyone can get hurt" and most anti Bosa people were QW fans. So yeah I'm glad QW will be back at some point this year and it's not like NY is really rooting for QW to get hurt he's just rubbing it in all the QW fans face.
There is nothing wrong with being a fan and puffing out your chest saying "our guys better". Every other teams fan base does it when they have a good pick.
It's not about being on team's dude. It's about being on the side of reason, logic, and consistency. Before the past couple of drafts NY and I didn't agree on nearly any player. He like Thomas, I liked Hooker, he liked Watson, I liked Mahomes. But the reasoning is usually sound and logical... even if I didn't agree on the outcome.
Everyone on the board has contradicted themselves at some point but it's the one's who's honest about it and the one's who try to correct it that I respect.
So you have posters who come in and try to make it about certain players or against certain posters and you shouldn't fall into that. Like you said, there's nothing wrong with being proud of the player you liked but focus on the logic behind the reason you liked them and not because other people didn't want them.
That way you're still right, you know why you're right, and you're more likely to be right in the future.
