And I love PFF stuff but not to the point where numbskulls are going to compare the snap counts of a versatile LBer thats going out covering passes during many of those snaps to a DE thats hitting a wall of Olinemen every snap ... as if we can accurately compare how players are doing with numbers after a few games.

As has always been the case...nothing beats the eye test, hence, the reason I encouraged people shortly before kickoff to actually watch him.

Eye test is the worst. Its accounts for 99% of the dumb takes on this site. If you aren't doing a little of each thing you are doing it wrong.
Looks like this one trick pony and "low quality" sacks guy is hitting home in the NFL too
Oakland might regret not taking him

That made my day!
Pretty interesting to note that Bosa, Allen, Burns all got some pretty sweet deals being paired with stacked D lines. As well as a solid edge rusher on the other side. Ford, Ngakoue, Addison.

Gary also joined a stacked line but he doesn't show up on stat lines. Likely because he's out there anchoring.

No,....eye test is the best. You entertaining people with absolutely no vision whatsoever accounts for the dumbness,....no offense.

Everyone isint meant to or able to discuss football in a legit back-and-forth.

But if numbers is what you need, he leads all rookies in sacks as of now. Either way you want to spin it. I think Burns can be a good player but a versatile Josh Allen, he isin't, and those opting to skip over this kid for Burns (should we not have been able to get "our guy") as if he wasnt good enough have been shown they were off-base.

Saw a spin move sack from him today. Had 2 sacks and caused a fumble. This dude has been a force for Jax. He's no Nick Bosa but He was a steal for a team like them at 7.

So glad the raiders declined trading Mack to us for our first rounder.

Acting like you're high and mighty when it comes to football evaluations when you were dogging Bosa the whole draft process seems silly no?

Burns is a whole year younger than Allen and is playing great. We didn't need a well rounded player. We needed a great pass rusher first and foremost. Bosa was the complete package and has played like it. Thinking Burns can be a better pass rusher long term over Allen isn't off-base and I'd say given the current play of both and where they are in their careers shows that.

Lol,...pull up my 1st quote from Bosa's thread,...because you are COMPLETELY lost. Bosa had some issues that only people like you are allowed to discuss here on the board, that I cannot discuss.

Injuries had been a question mark. He deserved criticism for not coming back to OSU. He deserved questions about his injuries.

As far as a football player? What I 1st said on here is "let's stop pretending like this guy isin't athletic,...he bends like crazy and we see it on tape."

No offense to you, but you are the quintessential example of what I'm talking about. You will completely make up stuff months later out of nothing more than emotion. There's no sense in trying to weigh positives and negatives with you regarding just about all of our players because your judgement is clouded.

So much so that you will completely make up stuff about Bosa when everyone knows his criticism came from off-the-field stuff and not being on the field to begin with. So what's the point??

Back to the subject, because I dont want or need to be high and mighty regarding football evaluations, nor do I care who is. My point was, if you passed this kid over for Burns like he was crap,...you have been proven completely wrong up to this point.

There's really nothing you can defend your buddy with here on this point. By next year things could be totally reversed. We'll see. Until then? Move on to something else.
