I think it was a mind game personally. Signed Staley before the draft to hopefully keep teams needing a tackle at bay and then wait til after the first to extend Tartt hoping for teams to trade up in front of us to help push our guy down.

Doubt it. If anybody would've drafted him it might of been the Bears. That would mean most likely the pick for us would've been Roquan.

People were saying he couldn't play Outside. Personally I was one that thought he could play anywhere, athleticism + work ethic will get you a long way.

Well, having another good CB would be nice, but if your pass protection sucks, it can kill your season. OT is more important than CB.
