I think he will be a good pick at our spot. It's been a little while since we had a great corner. The closets ones were probably carlos rogers and walt harris.

Yes and they were just excellent fits. Jackson is more talented IMO. He appeares to also be a nice scheme fit, so the marriage looks nice.

I see Jackson as a Peters-like playmaker if he has a pass rush in front of him. He has excellent ball skills.

yup but i hope he takes slightly less risks than peters. He tends to get burnt a lot.
Dude is legit! Get em in the first before he gone! Best CB in the draft, has the size and athleticism to dominate.
I wonder what his 40 would look like

4.4-4.5 is good enough for me. more important for me is his 3-cone time.
Is there legitimately solid value in taking this guy at #10 if others are gone? Cant help but think Lynch will try and find another Ahkello.
I'm hooked on this kid after watching his highlight video. I wouldn't be mad at all if Lynch took him at 9/10.

Better defender than Roquan Smith.

But say if we truly need an ER theres not another DB we can target? Usually better to take a pass rusher earlier before your CB.

If we get the 10th pick, and none of our other targets are there i wouldnt mind a mini trade down to get an extra 3rd and taking him assuming we dont sign a CB in FA.

Then we use a 3rd to package with the Saints pick to move up for a pass rusher.

Im DESPERATE to get the 9th pick cause i dunno if either of those guys will be there along with even Ridley.

We need 4 QBs to go before our pick, hopefully Fitzpatrick ,a Tackle and Derwin James as well.

I agree, I see 4 QBs going, Williams, Chubb, Barkley, Fitzpatrick..then the niners have a choice between the 3 I want..if the Raiders get the 9th pick Roquan is definitely gone then..

Going to be an interesting draft with all of our needs and how the talent falls in the top 10.

Pretty much haha. I can see Gruden falling for Ridley and thinks that's what he needs opposite of Cooper. It seems like Oakland is setup to take Roquan though if hes there.

Typically I'd agree with you Smoke, but personally I'm not sold on Harold or Key....yet. Senior Bowl will determine Harold. Key at 9 or 10 I pass. Jackson will be an elite CB in the league imo, especially in our scheme. The opposite is also true in that solid coverage makes the pass rush better, coverage sacks. Jackson definitely will provide that along with giving the ball back to Jimmy G with his ball hawking skills
