A lot of the top WRs have not run shuttles and cone times. So, Brown's 6.89 is another check mark for me. He plays at a top level inside, outside, has an NFL body, runs very good routes, can run the full route tree effectively. He's pretty good.
Does this mean you're clearly that high on DK? He's beyond a #1?

I'm seeing more Dez than JuJu.
I don't see either. I see a faster Anquan Boldin. Maybe less angry, but he could grow into it. IMO, Q was more tough/physical than just plain angry when he started out.

Probably more of a Boldin type on the next level. Not ever going to beat teams deep but a very solid possession guy. With Goodwin/ Pettis he'd be great here.

I think JuJu is a great comp. he's much faster than Q.

When giving a free release my comp is OBJ. If we are talking pure game.

JuJu was compared to Boldin as well.

He's way better in the open field than Anquan.

Just to break the comparison. Juju averaged 12.8 ypc/ 5.8 was yac. At 648 yac yards he was by far and away the #1 yac receiver. Boldin was very similar. Low avg reception, tons of yac. They're underneath receivers. That's how I see Brown despite the faster 40. An underneath guy is what we need with Goodwin, Pettis so I like the idea of taking Brown and wouldn't be shocked to see him there at 36.

Would you give us something like an overall take on the WR class — or... I guess what I'm really wondering is, do you see the potential in any of these guys to grow into a "#1 WR" for our offense that so many fans so badly want?
Personally I don't think we "need" a "#1 WR", if that means a dominant, top 10 in the league WR; I do agree that we could use a bigger bodied physically imposing guy in our receiver group and hope that we might get that guy in an AJ Brown or Butler or Harry (I'm no expert)
Thanks in advance...

If he turned into Dez the player that wouldn't be great for us??
As opposed to the Dez the what?
I'm saying that his play reminds me more of Dez than JuJu. Not a bad thing either way.
Oh I think I read your post wrong. My bad.
But ya I'm gonna have to agree with others I think he is more JuJu than Dez. Although if he turned out to be like either that would be great for us.

Uhhh, Q was NASTY in the open field. Don't let that dude you watched in SF or Baltimore fool you, that young AZ Q made people look stupid. Brown can do it, too, just a lot faster.
