AJ Brown- WR Ole Miss

Brown, Deebo, Metcalf, McLaurin. It was a pretty stud class this year but yeah AJ looks the best out of them.

I'm content with Deebo. He started off slow but looked more and more like a bigtime playmaker as the season went on. I was hoping that they could have gotten both Brown and Deebo but they still wound up with a good one.


This upcoming WR class is likely to be even better with a lot more talent at the top.

Oak has one of the worst secondaries in football.

He's a stud love his game, I would also like to see how he fairs against some good CBs.

Can say the same about our boy Deebo too. Three games over 100 vs 27th Seattle. And 31st Arizona. They're doing exactly what they're supposed to do. And Imagine if Kyle was scheming AJ Brown

I wouldnt trade Deebo for Brown. I think we got the best of the lot.

No doubt. That's why I'm saying we should calm down on AJ Brown is a WR#1 (no one is saying that about deebo that's for sure).

Both guys are RAC machines and I'd expect both to have success under kyle.

While I had AJ graded higher (which means nothing lol) I'm not gonna label either anything (outside of having good rookie seasons) or say one is better than the other at this pt.

I saw AJ has 4TD of 50+ yards tied for #1 league.

Yea that makes sense . Gonna be surprising if BB doesn't shut him down this weekend

Deebo does more in the offense. He plays like a RB in open field. He's perfect for this offense. Don't get me wrong, other guys are great too. Deebo's great for this offense.

I wouldn't trade him either just becaude you got to factor in system/ coach but if someone asked who.is objectively better I'm taking Brown. More big play ability, much better hands. Not that Deebo isn't a baller though.

This team needed to get tougher. We needed wide receivers who bite down on their mouthpiece and don't shy away when skulls are being cracked in games such as those against Seattle. That's why Deebo was the right pick.

And check the logs: I loved AJ Brown.

This. Plus Deebo really took off after he got comfortable in the offense and gained the trust of both the coaches and Jimmy. I think both Deebo and AJ will have WR1 type impacts going forward.

Ok here's a pointlessly tantalizing and ultimately unknowable thought exercise for you all....

If we had taken AJ Brown in the second over Deebo would Deebo have lasted until the 3rd?

Could we have taken AJ Brown and Deebo instead of Deebo and Hurd?

And how absolutely badass would our offense be if we were trotting out Brown, Deebo, Kittle, Juice and Mostert?

I was hoping we would draft AJ but Deebo is perfect for us. Honestly, either way we couldn't have gone wrong so I'm stoked. Hope AJ has a great career in the AFC

I sure hope so, but all of the pros for Deebo can be said for AJB too outaide of kick returning and AJB was healthy.

Not a fan of the hurd pick unless were planning on bulking him up to tight end. Felt like we got a jack of all trades master of none. Shanny says they drafted him to be a wide out. I guess we got our big wide out, just a little slower than id like
