Weird that he had a clear picture of Hyde...but sees the end around coming out of the corner of his eye and goes for that versus seeing the play in front of him. Obviously if Browns have the fake to Hyde and give it to the end around he'd look like a hero but yikes...

Loved this dude going into that draft last year, I thought it would be a little high taking him where we took McGrinchey. I would rather have McGrinchey + Warner than just Tremaine Edmunds alone.

Dude must be a nightmare to throw over the middle against for a QB. Not many 6-5 LBs dropping into throwing lanes that can actually move.
Agreed. I'd take that combo over all of the first-round LBs from this class. Drafting a good tackle is an invaluable move, and Fred is a very good player in his own right.

MD and I were so wrong on this kid. Neither of us thought he had elite instincts. Can't get 'em all right, but you gotta be man enough to admit when you're wrong. Kudos to the job he's doing. For the sake of Frank Gore, I hope he helps them go to a Super Bowl. If the Niners aren't in it, then I hope they win one for Frankie.
