Hopefully this doesn't tank his career yet alone his draft value.

This wasn't a normal situation where you wait till the 2nd half to pull a starter. If you're intent on playing the kid, at least use some type of risk mitigation where you try your best to protect him. Both this game and last week's gameplan of calling plays making him run around, showed that Saban and staff didn't prioritize protecting Tua.
I'm very disappointed in the way they handled this entire situation from start to finish. Hopefully Tua can fully recover and not have it hurt his draft stock.

What's wrong with him? Is it his knee? I didn't see his knee bend on that play at all?

Last week they played LSU. You can't dial down the gameplan there. This week they could of. I do understand the criticism but Bama is playing for the playoffs and that requires blowouts especially when you have a loss. You have to look like the best team with 1 loss. That's the system in place right now. Tua suited up, the plan was to pull him around half it just sucks that he got hurt beforehand.

He should be available at pick #32 in next year's draft now. Let him recover and sit behind Jimmy for 2 years and unleash him after.
