Shred his draft stock is about all he did.
Where the hell is the Trevor Lawrence thread. The kid is God in cleats.
You do realize he has an entire season or two to have everyone singing his praises again right? Every single person on Alabama had a bad day, including the GOAT Saban. They just looked completely out of it for the majority of the game. It happens in football.
Draft stock for next year? I guarantee you that he didn't and will still enter next season as a Heisman frontrunner as well as one of the top prospects in college football.

Tua came off as the weak link. That was a really bad game for him. I hope he rebounds.
I kinda respect that he holds a grudge after all these years. I never hated the Cowboys, just really disliked them. They were the measuring stick that we used to judge the greatness of our team. The early 90s teams loose some shine with out the Dallas rivalry. Personally i prefer the way it turned out versus an extra Super Bowl win. WE got a rivalry for the ages.

I bet NFL teams are already trying to position themselves to get him. Unreal prospect.
I wouldn't hesitate. I'd drop Jimmy in a heartbeat. This kid eats, sleeps, breathes football. He studies film instead of going out and partying. Solid head on his shoulders (hell of a head right lol)
Still you can just tell certain guys have that make up of a great athlete. He's that. I'd be surprised if he flames out. Just look what he did in high school. Also he would've started the season as the starter except Dabo felt a lil more loyal to give Bryant the shot.
Everything I read this past spring and summer he beat out Bryant.
Dude will be a stud

Think at least 25-30 teams in the league will be trying to get him. He'll be the best QB prospect in a long time and you could see it coming in high school. He has Josh Allen's size and arm talent with more accuracy and he's still just 19. It's not hard to imagine him being the best QB in the league in 4-5 years.
He would be the #1 pick easily in this year's draft. Allen wasn't close to as good at 22 and was drafted 7th based on physical tools. If I'm a terrible team like Oakland, Arizona, or the Jets, I'm rolling over money and not overpaying guys in free agency to position myself to draft Lawrence in 2021.

About Trevor Lawrence, I remember the suck for Luck and at that time Luck was seen as the closest thing to Manning possible and how many superbowls the colts have won since? Zero. And Luck is a great QB.
So no, I don´t care for Lawrence and hopefully Jimmy G and Kyle will get the job done.
I´m sick and tired of choosing in the top 10 of the draft.

Peyton Manning won one super bowl in 13 seasons with the Colts. What's your point? Dan Marino is also one of the best QBs of all time. Luck hasn't had a great supporting cast with the Colts, but he's made the playoffs 4 times out of 6 years. Before getting injured in week 3 of 2015 and playing through it (eventually needing surgery and missing the 2017 season), Luck started his career with 3 consecutive pro bowls and 3 consecutive playoff appearances.
QBs that are can't miss prospects don't come around often, but when they do, you take them unless you have an elite QB already.
If you're a really bad team (probably not us), you go all in for Lawrence in 2021 and hope you can surround him with a good enough roster at some point in his career to make a super bowl run. The Colts haven't done a good job bringing in players around Luck (other than this year getting Nelson/Ebron).
Colts in 2011 before Luck: 2-14, 15.7 pts/game.
Colts in 2012: 11-5, 22.3 pts/game
Colts in 2017 with Luck our for season: 4-12, 16.4 pts/game
Colts in 2018: 10-6, 27.1 pts/game
Drafting a franchise QB doesn't guarantee you a Super Bowl, but it certainly helps.

Ok but my point is that I don´t care about a guy that is the next big thing and that will be in the draft in 2 or 3 years.
And as far as Luck is concerned, I said that he is a great QB. The thing is in 2010 and 2011, I read the same things about Luck than I read about Lawrence. That´s what I was trying to say.
A QB is not the answer to everything like you said. You should have a complete team to win the Superbowl.
And we already have a damn good QB.
