Oh hai, is this the group therapy thread for coping with the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo?

I'll start off.

Would still go #1 imo

Ed Oliver and Justin Herbert would disagree with that statement. Clelin Farrell might as well.

if we want him and he's the guy, there's 0% chance we get him, cuz remember, we can't have nice things round these parts

I actually work up hoping it was a sprain and not a tear, and when the new came in, man it was hard going around today.

So true.
Top 5 pick, here we come
I think our only change to land him would be to trade up , or need a top Qb prospect or 2 completely light it up this year..
Him and his brother are both roiders. That's why they're always injured

Ed Oliver might go before him. We already have Buckner so that would be great.

it's always hard when I wake up, the body naturally sends blood to that region first.

I think it is no longer impossible. We may finish something like 4-12 which gives us 2 options for an edge, either trade up if the owner of #1 will trade down, or take the best remaining edge. Either way, Buckner has a new best friend next year!

Meh, Drew Breese injured his shoulder/rotator cuff early in his career and for a good long while everybody thought he was done. Jimmy's not done and Breese came back from that rotator cuff injury to win a super bowl and go on to have a stellar career. The problem I see with Jimmy and Breese is that the coaches that coached them never seemed to be able to get a good defense to match up with their QB.

I'll take that, yes the season is not over, but the season is not done. In other words, I'm looking forward to seeing how BeatHard improves and all the other rookies improve. I'm looking to see how coaching improves both offense and defense in loss after loss. I hope we're at least halfway competitive, and the consolation prize for the bottom of the barrel teams is getting those great high draft choices.
