This roster has a ton of holes, some by injuries, some by talent. That won't be solved alone in FA.

Lynch & Shanahan must ask themselves is Nick Bosa (hypothetically speaking @1 overall) worth the compensation they could get from a desperate QB needy team?

Is there, though, a qb worth paying through the nose for? For another team, obviously.
Great move for Bosa, gonna need him healthy lol
Here's an article.

Sorry bros, but we're probably going to win the next 3 out of 4 games. The raiders are absolute trash. The Cardinals are a worse team than us despite their win against us, so it is unlikely they pull off the sweep. And the Giants are almost as bad as the raiders.

If Oakland continues to play the way they have, they will get the #1 overall pick.

Thats fine, the draft doesn't end with Bosa, there's a bunch of good looking pass rushing prospects this year. If not Bosa then they'll still have a shot at several other high quality edge rushers.

Truth

And, IMO, we won't get the #1 pick.

We'll win enough games to move us down the board

I think 4thr 5th - which still isn't bad.

Bosa's injuries are a concern.
Nick Bosa will be a Raider

I just hope this isn't a 2017 scenario where the #1 team gets a Myles Garrett (Nick Bosa) and we're left with a Solomon Thomas.

Not if we can help it.

One, maybe, if he comes out.

No matter what there seems to be one every year that some team will be hungry to go draft

If in the position to do so, we will definitely be fielding all worthy offers. I'd rather have CB1 and ER 2 + more over ER1 with relevant injury concern. On the flipside, Bosa's talent outweighs the injury concern if no one offers anything good

Multiple knee injuries in high school and college, core muscle injury..

Do we really want an injury prone player?!?!? Like we haven't had enough of them?

Pattern much? I like him al lot... His injuries not so much....

It would certainly cause me to pause. That's quite a History, and his Brother being out for extended periods isn't exactly reassuring.

I imagine that the Medical report at the combine (or whenever) would be the deciding factor for any Team considering him.

Kind of a selfish move, his team could compete for the NCG and he is packing it in. Not saying he should rush back either though.

Michigan fans should be glad he won't be playing against them.
