Multiple knee injuries in high school and college, core muscle injury..

Do we really want an injury prone player?!?!? Like we haven't had enough of them?

Pattern much? I like him al lot... His injuries not so much....

It would certainly cause me to pause. That's quite a History, and his Brother being out for extended periods isn't exactly reassuring.

I imagine that the Medical report at the combine (or whenever) would be the deciding factor for any Team considering him.

It's mind boggling with all these injuries and with our history of injuries we would ignore this but we are the new niners..

We rather repeat the same cycle so this guy can warm up the bench or be in IR..

I'm just shocked at so many would disregard his injury history considering what we are going through and just went through with injuries. Let's bring Baalke back f**k it right?

As stated on this forum I would be very careful if he were available in the draft when our turn comes. Just saw Kiper saying he didn't think it would lower his draft stock which means we would need to have the first or second pick. We can't afford another miss if we draft that high. Thomas may improve but he is not playing like a 3rd overall pick. The Niners need to really investigate this type of injury and make darn sure he is recovered enough to play. No waiting a year like we did with other players. His injury history (and his family's) make me nervous. I keep thinking about Eric Wright and an abdominal injury he suffered that wasn't supposed to be that serious but it effectively ended his career.

Nah I would run in the card honestly. That's why we need to add 3 to 4 edge rushers to the roster/practice squad so an injury to Bosa wouldn't be bad.
When have the 49ers ever drafted the player we all want them to? Might as well close this thread for that fact alone. lol

Liking him and acknowledging his injury prone career is apples and oranges.

Willis. Davis. Buckner. Crabtree. Harris. It happens. Doesn't mean they will be a success as Kwaeme will tell you. But it does, temporarily, make the forum a nicer place that usually is the case at draft time.
Not sure if mentioned yet but he's leaving Ohio State to focus on the draft.

I admit I thought Adam Carriker would be the better player :/

Wait what? All I said was that we dont typically draft the player that the majority of 49er fans want. Seems like everyone wants Bosa. Not sure what his "injury prone career" has anything to do with this.

Of all these names you listed, only Crabtree was the consensus desired pick. None of the others were.
How long was he supposed to be out? (Before deciding to shut it down)
