Beathard is a Trump supporter and he's doing fine. This isn't relevant at all IMO.

As long as he balled out on the field, I don't think anyone would give a crap.

I got a feeling this guy will slowly start breaking down and will be out of the league before his 25th birthday.

What's the over / under on he gets hurt before he arrives to the NFL?

Huge red flag to me. Me first mentality is a cancer to any team.

Not really quiting on your team if you're most likely gonna be out for the season. And IMO its a smart move not to play while his stock is up from a business standpoint.
Say Ohio State makes it to the championship game...that's Mid Jan...it's only mid oct. He had surgery that typically takes 4 to 6 weeks to recover from. He quit on that team.

This. I could care less who he likes politically. Each to their own.
Who cares if he's shutting it down? He's not quitting on his team. Don't kid yourselves but college football is a big money business too. Smart business decision here. Rehab it properly.

Exactly, as long as he's a Baller and does something in the community , I don't care if he gets caught in the sack with heavy drinking righty Judge Kavanaugh

Yeah same here. Looking back at guys like Clowney and Garrett, who knew they were going #1 overall, took their senior year so cautiously is something im not a fan of. I know it is very smart for them financially and i can see why they did it, but i want a guy who loves the game enough to just go out there and give 100% all the time. When you look at Clowney and Garrett, they are good pass rushers, but neither have been the dominate monsters they were drafted to be. They have all the talent in the world but i think their work ethic is keeping them from looking like future HOFers

And this is one of the reasons why I love Gary so much because he played through an injury and when asked. He said nah it's ok.

Harbaugh had to sit him because he won't say s**t. The dude is a workaholic.

That being said I don't blame Bosa but I cringe at his injury history.

We had enough these past 6-8 years.

yep those are the kind of guys i want

But isnt Gary more of a Big end. We still got to hope Solly can improve and play better there or that Kentavius Street can do something. We need a true LEO

I mean in all honesty, i would deifnitely be okay with Bosa but the choice to sit out scares me. His brother already showed that he cares alot about the money than just playing. His brother is probably just as much of a Dbag.

Smart move by him though leaving..

Kind of a selfish move, his team could compete for the NCG and he is packing it in. Not saying he should rush back either though.

Michigan fans should be glad he won't be playing against them.

Agree that is a selfish move.

It's a move I totally agree with.

His financial future depends on his performance as a pro - not a rah-rah college game where if he got badly injured it would be over.

Everyone agrees with his decision including Mel Kiper.

Selfish?

He had major surgery in his core as well as multiple knee injuries??

Should he risk his whole career for any University?? Is any University going to pay him for his career?

As a Michigan fan I would rather him play, as a business decision that is a smart one.. One must look at this as a business decision.. No one should call him selfish with his injury history..

Should he risk his career coming back? None of you would...

Stop the madness..

Good post Wu!

Thanks brethren! Like Desmond Howard said. If this was your kid. There's no question.

That's good for him...let him earn his $$ from some other team but please not this one. We've already gone through enough quitters.

As long as he is American he can believe whatever he wants, can he play?

He'll ya
The only red flag that scares me is the injury stuff. Reading that post about all the injury problems his entire family has had...well, it's got me a little spooked lol. His talent is undeniable though.
He had a knee injury in high school, did have one in college?
