Trade down, draft an elite CB, Greedy Williams.

Great post but fans boys will ignore this gem cause it destroys the narrative.

33 1/2 is longer than 33" Allen vs Bosa

And I'll take the truth coming straight from the guy. Joe Thomas had 32 1/2 inch arms drafted 3rd overall and will go down as one of the best LT in NFL history.

If he's got no speed why is his 10 yard split faster than Allen? Why is it faster than Aldon Smith? His 40 time was almost identical to Aldon and considering how he ran it he's probably much faster if he actually ran in a straight line.

Give me the guy with the faster 10 yard split considering if we need him to run 40 yards to get the QB we're in trouble.

And alligator arms? SteveYoung is that you?

Jared Allen did just fine with his 32 inch arms...must've been because he's a speed rusher with his 4.76 40 yard dash and 1.69 10 yard split right?

Was Jared or Aldon drafted top 2 ? These arguments are IRRELEVANT. The argument is that Bosa does NOT deserve to be #1 or #2 damn it his brother (who is much better) didn't go that high. Also Allen ran as fast as low 4.6 (reported) and was called "FAST and POWERFUL". Aldon's arms were long 35 3/8 and he was a powerful dude. Aldon was not a speed rusher. He also played in the 9ers 3-4 scheme as a LB. Much different from lining up as a DE. By the way Jared was a 4th rd pick ok.

What the hell are you talking about? Who CARES where they were drafted?

Vernon Gholston was drafted in the top 10. Would you rather have him or Jared Allen?

Aldon was drafted 7th. Holy big difference batman.

Joey went 3rd because 2 QBs went before him.

Who is your pick for #2? Josh Allen? You realize he tested worse than Bosa at almost every combine drill which is a big indicator of NFL success for DEs? And he was supposed to be the much better/faster athlete than Bosa.

And since you clearly can't figure it out....40 time is not as important for DEs as the 10 yard split.
Don't understand why you guys are arguing with a troll account set up a week ago, the hide post function is a wonderful tool.

I'm all up for debating a prospect, but this dude is clearly just trying to get a rise out of people and it's working.

Bosa's arms being an issue is a ridiculous Gran Cohn based drivel. There are countless players in the NFL with arm length around the same size who dominate the league. Would it be better if his arms were 2-3 inches longer? Of course but it is what it is. 33 inch arms aren't t-rex/gator arms.

Carl Lawson and Melvin Ingram are doing just fine and their arms are much smaller.

I mean Aaron Donald has shorter arms, doesn't stop him from dominating wherever he lines up.

Plus I honestly dont' think his arm length is the issue. He doesn't have a huge chest and his traps are pretty good. Some stretching before his measurement probably could've easily added half an inch.

None of the edge rushers you mentioned are elite. I have yet to see ONE DE with short arms drafted top 2 and be elite. Name someone ? Donald is a DT and goes against Guards and Centers most times who has notoriously short arms and exactly why they play inside.Sure some arms are longer but it is what it is. Example Zack Martin 32 7/8" arms.

Can you imagine if McGlinchey 34" or Joe Staley 34.25" gets their hands on Bosa ? He would be done lol.

Bosa doesn't deserve to be top 2, top 15 sure (Donald went #13). A top 2 pick needs to be a franchise player or it will set the organization back. What has he done to be #1 or #2 ? He isn't a freakish athlete, his production wasn't high in college, he's injury prone, he isn't fast, he isn't huge. What am I missing, what is all the hype about ? Ohhhhh because of his brother and family NAME !!! This nonsense reminds me of the Lonzo Ball #2 pick in the NBA. I knew he was going to be trash in the NBA.

I watched him before he got hurt and he jumps off the screen at you. Keep in mind that I didn't want to like him because I assumed we had no shot at drafting him and was trying to hype myself up for Allen. Bosa treats offensive lineman like they are minor annoyances, not as a real threat to block him. He has multiple moves with elite hand strength. I could care less what his family name is, I saw an absolute beast when I popped on an Ohio state game. I saw a great enough player on the short time I watched him that I'm still not convinced he slips to 2. Wouldnt shock me if a team mortgages their future picks to move up to 1 and draft him if the Cards want to move back.

Ask a boxer if reach 1/4 to 3/4 inch matters....."Khalil Mack(#5 pick) clocks 4.45 40-yard dash time at Pro Day" Is that speed ? I didn't have to mention Mack's position, it's known. Mack was a LB in college and early career in the NFL. 🙄

DLAW(4.69 40 pro day) is a "true" DE because that's the position he has always played. He was not a LB or 3/4 rushing LB.

Melvin Ingraham was a LB in college he is athletic. Ingraham(#18 pick in draft) in 7 seasons in the NFL has 2 seasons with double digit sacks(10.5 2 times). That's what you want for a #2 pick in Bosa ? 🤢🤮

Dude don't compare Bosa to Jared Allen who produced in college 10.5 sacks in Jr year, 17.5 sacks his senior year.... Bosa 17.5 in 3 seasons 😒

DLAW had 20 sacks in 2 years at Boise state. Jared Allen, Cameron Wake(4.55 40 time pro day), Demarcus Lawrence. Are all speed rushers among other things, turn on the tape. They consistently got sacks with SPEED. No matter what they ran in the 40.

"Brandon Graham is NOT just a speed rusher".... Realize what you said ? "NOT JUST" meaning he ALSO is a speed rusher.

Bosa has NO speed. He has short arms AND is SLOW, He got most of his sacks with technique against bad tackles. People also do not realize Bosa got many of his sacks from rushing INSIDE. 🤔

Since you want to compare these other pass rushers with short arms, which ones went top 2 in their draft ? Jared Allen went in 4th rd. Cameron Wake UNDRAFTED. Brandon Graham #13 Melvin Ingraham #18 Dee Ford #23 Vic Beasley #8 Za'Darius Smith 4th rd. Yet you want the 9ers to Draft Slow, Alligator arms🐊, low production in college, injury prone Nick Bosa with the 2nd pick in the draft ? Hahahahahahahahahaha

Going HAM!! lol

Pretty sure it's SteveYoung back again. Either that or another Cohn account.
Wait. Do people really think Greedy is an elite corner? Lol he's good but the time for elite cornerback was last year in Ward or Alexander.

I agree...I don't see him as elite at all.

I was wondering when he was gonna come back .....seems about right a little more than a month before the draft.

If we were to trade down I'd much rather take Byron Murphy. That dude may not be as tall as we'd like but similar to Verrett he's smooth as hell out there.

The use of the pejorative term "fan boys" is an admission of a spurious and failed argument.
