Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio St(The Politics Free Thread)

Lol wut?!?!?!??! Trade down for mid round picks?!?! You're complaining about Bosa not being a sure thing, but those 3rd and 4th rd picks sure will be! The zone is the only place you'll find people unsure if Nick Bosa is easily the #1 talent in the draft...and how can you like Ferrel more lol...I get the injury concern, and I like ferrel (was bummed when he went back to school last year because I wanted to draft him) but common, are you even watching? Bosa is literally better than Ferrel in every single aspect. Ferrel is a top prospect because he has size, explosion, and technique. Bosa has size, more explosion, and more technique lol.
These dudes don't get it.

Shwing.

The combination of balance, footwork, and bend to shrink his surface area around the arc is bananas. Tackle basically had nothing to strike. Bro, look at those feet. The inside toe taking him to the QB and outside foot gaining depth. And oh yea, Nick isn't some 245 lbs speed rusher; he's 270 lbs. Holy s**t, Nick Bosa.

I couldn't believe that guy legit suggested moving down for 3rd and 4th round picks with Bosa on the board.

Crazy...

Pretty simple for me. If a team wants to offer a Hershel Walker trade then we take it. Otherwise, run to the podium and select Bosa. He would be the missing link to our defense and make the entire DL better as well as the backfield. Cant win if you cant rush the passer so its a complete no brainer

Totally this. Wise words.

However, if we do draft Bosa, considering the injury history, I think it's critical we acquire some hefty buffers to that investment with multiple other pass rush acquisitions either with other picks or through free agency/trade prior.

Bosa Day One
Winovitch, Ray, Jackson Day Two

edit: Winovich, no "t"

Oh I think that's a must regardless of Bosa's injuries.

Exactly. Bosa could have a clean bll of health and I still want some combination (draft + FA) of 3 starting caliber edge rushers.
Bosa is the pick if he's available, sign either Dee Ford, Frank Clark, Shane Ray, Donte Fowler..and sign Grady Jarrett, add in Buckner and Thomas and this D-Line will be crazy, the depth would be very good too with Blair, Street, Day and Jones..

No Frank Clark. I don't care how good he is. I don't need choir boys on the team, but I don't want to try to figure out how to cheer for a woman beater.

Frank Clark is not happening. After what (almost) happened to Foster this offseason -- what makes anybody think Lynch would touch a guy like this? They were this close to cutting their stud first round pick.

Fowler a little overhyped around here. The need for pass rush has got fans wearing some serious beer goggles. He's not that good.

True, didn't think about that, any other would be fine then lol
