If we finish tied with the Raiders, SOS will determine who wins the pick, not head to head. I think that's what your referring to, right?

Yes. So even though we have the first pick now we need the raiders to win again to get the first pick. I give us a lot higher chance of winning more games or being tied with the raiders then that happening.
Seriously hope we don't lose the #1 pick and Bosa, especially after the Raiders chose the Bears over us on Mack. I know any given Sunday, but who between has the best chance of getting the#1 pick based on the remaining schedule?

We all know we have that always important week 17 game against the Rams who will be resting their studs. It's like I've seen this movie before and know how it ends....cough Solomon Thomas cough

FYI we could lose out and still not get #1. Depends on the strength of schedule.

Bosa is the pick if he's available, sign either Dee Ford, Frank Clark, Shane Ray, Donte Fowler..and sign Grady Jarrett, add in Buckner and Thomas and this D-Line will be crazy, the depth would be very good too with Blair, Street, Day and Jones..

Why would they sign Jarrett? We don't need more interior DL. I'd like Ford but all those guys outside Ray more than likely doesn't make it to FA. Graham would be a hell of a grab imo.

But Bosa becomes the LEO and they just need a nickel rusher.

No. There is no head-to-head attribute to determining draft order. If two teams have the same record, the team with a lower strength of schedule (opponents' win-loss record) selects first. If the strength of schedule is identical, a coin flip decides who picks first, and they alternate through the rest of the draft.

The 49ers and Raiders currently have identical records, but the 49ers have a lower strength of schedule. The 49ers need the teams in their division to lose a few games to stay on top of the draft order, since division rivals count double for SOS.

No Frank Clark. I don't care how good he is. I don't need choir boys on the team, but I don't want to try to figure out how to cheer for a woman beater.

Chief fans have no problem cheering for tyreek hill

I would. If it's just me, then it's just me. Still don't want him.

With the way the saints are playing now they may need to play their starters for home field, no one wants to go to NO in the playoffs
Bosa isn't Garrett. I'm fine missing on him if it happens.

Agree, I think that last game will mean something for them.

Not as an athlete, but as a Pass rusher I think Bosa is better.

This is the biggest thing, we still have the Seahawks twice, so either they beat us twice ruining our SOS or we beat them upping our win total.

We either need Carr to ball out, or more likely suck and the Raiders use their pick on a QB.

I'd love to add Jarrett to put next to Buckner, release AA and Mitchell, he'd be a huge upgrade, IMO having 2 great DT would be huge, I just did a mock taking Bosa and adding Ray too, signing and drafting them 3 would be huge and make this defense so much better all around..
