yeah i think NCstate has that 6'3 guy, Kelvin Harmon, who is really impressive. Probably the only WR ive been watching so far

im hoping that Lynch could do the raiders dirty if we have the #1 overall pick. If Raiders are in the market for a new QB and they want Herbert or some other late riser QB at the #1 pick, we could swindle away 2 1st rounders from them to get a ER and WR.

We have a big wide receiver right in our backyard at Stanford. Whiteside is 6'3''with good speed (he ran track in high school with really good hands. Most of all he uses his basketball skills to go up and grab balls while shielding the ball from the defender. May be a 3rd or early 4th rounder. Stanford players have a history of success as receivers and tight ends in the NFL.

DK Metcalf>>>> over any other WR in this draft

You don't pass on someone like Bosa, BUT the league is trending toward the offensive side of the ball. Trying to build a team around defense is a mistake in my opinion. You can't stop the Rams, Chiefs, or Saints.

The rules are making this more of an arena style offensive game.

That why passing rushing is that much more important than ever. Look at ATL last night their the 7th overall offense and got thrashed last night by the saints D. Turnovers and sacks.

We already have the offensive mind in place which is huge just need our QB back.
ATL 7th ranked offensive ranking is meaningless. The Chiefs, Rams, Saints, and maybe the healthy patriots make the Falcons look pedestrian.

So you prefer losing 45-40 games? The Chiefs, Rams, and Saints haven't been slowed down by premiere pass rushers this year. Sure the chiefs lost to the rams, but they still scored over 100 points combined.

Ball control and a dominant offensive line can go a long way in limiting another team's offensive possessions and rhythm. I would prefer that, paired with a veteran edge rusher (better than what we have).

I have my doubts our PWILLY led defense or even the Legion of Boom would be able to deal with what we're seeing today.

I think they would. Running on those 49ers defenses was mostly futile and you had 7 guys in coverage because Fangio could get pressure with his front 4. The Seattle defense neutralized the passing game with the Legion of Boom. It can be done, but you have to have the right guys and the right play caller. Don't let the high offensive numbers fool you. When those teams meet each other in the playoffs, there will be some key defensive stop, turnover, sack, etc, that will make a huge difference in the game.

Well if the 9ers can maintain the #1 overall pick then no doubt Bosa will be a 9er......NO DOUBT!!! Sadly I just think the 9ers will win enough to stay out of the overall pick.

Think positive - it'll happen.

Who are we going to beat though? We have a chance tomorrow but I see Evans and DJax running wild. After that we have:

Seattle
Denver
Seattle
Chicago
Rams

I just don't see it

At home vs. Denver and Seattle are very winnable games. The Rams game is the last of the season, they will most likely be resting their starters once again.

McVay wasn't excited last season when Shanny whooped him then they limped into the playoffs and got curb stomped. I don't see that happening again.
It's gonna be such a bummer when we win one more game and once again miss out on the top prospect.

Which Williams do we pick @ #2?

Neither...we shouldn't take another DT or OT; would be horrible.

Trade down at all cost or look at Ferrell

Lol I always try to but we will most likely win a meaningless game some people will be so happy then those same people will be mad we ended up with a lesser talent because of the result of that meaningless win.

I will never root for the 49ers to lose..but if it does happen, no tears will be shed here.

Selecting a player with all pro potential is never a bad thing. Both players could easily be the best player from this entire draft class.
