Also I would trade down from 1 to like 5 and trade again to like 7-8 and get BPA.
Get your facts right.

49ers traded the 3rd pick for the 12th and 24th pick plus a 4th and 5th rd pick. They didnt get an additional 2 2nd rd picks in that deal.

Supreme doesn't believe in little things like facts John!

Whoaaa niners got the extra second from jets and not Washington OMG!

But you said the Niners got TWO 2nd rd pick in addition to the 12th and 24th pick in rd 1. Like I said, get your facts right.

Yeah but they traded with jets and got an additional pick in second. The point is we turned that one pick into multiple picks that helped us out tremendously instead of picking one player that would only address one need.

Just because they added picks doesnt mean it was smart. This trade with the Jets, while getting an additional pick, cost them the chance to draft John Abraham who the Jets selected. Personally, I would rather have had the dominant pass rusher than the extra draft pick.
What are you talking about Julian Peterson was a beast with us! And Ahmed Plummer was an good corner until the wild card game with giants where Amani toomer abused him but that was 3 years later.

Yeah you showed me
I remember when the Browns had the moneyball GM and they just kept trading down.

You all love Lynch and co drafting ability all of a sudden? Like he will draft 4 home runs instead of Bosa? What are the odds of that lol.

If we pick # 1 I better see them sprint the Bosa card up to the commissioner. Best talent in the draft at the exact position of need requires no thought imo.

What don't you get we need players? We can easily get at least one more first rounder for the year after as well. Bosa is not a slam dunk at #1. Nobody is. But we can maneuver in order to set ourselves up for 2019 and the future. We gonna make the same mistake we did with Solomon that we did drafting bosa. Use the pick to get more bodies but gonna use that pick to draft somone who is over hyped. Solomon Thomas was way overhyped and it's showing. Good lord you guys are something else.

Unless it's a QB he will be the first pick. Because everyone knows a premiere pass rusher is second to a fqb. Thomas was highly regarded during the draft. Is you're just talking bs.
I'm so glad none of you are the gm. Baalke x100000

Agreed he is a monster on the field and would he our crappy secondary play. They can cover for about 3 seconds that's it. Pressure equals turnovers which creates more opportunities for the offense which in theory produces points hence victories. That's what this cat can provide.

I think it comes down to how big the offer would be. If a team offered multiple 1st rd picks this year and a 1st rd pick next year I would make the trade. Bosa can be great but I would move down if it meant getting THREE first rd picks. But, short of that I would simply make him the pick.

Exactly, but that will never happen he's not a franchise QB. Just draft him. These guys act like getting 4 picks means 4 starters lol

Yeah our team has so much talent that 4 picks would never start for us

I swear that gets said every year.
If the niners have a chance to take Bosa I'm positive he's the pick, if they don't then they trade back and I'd love for them to land Josh Allen and get a nice haul of picks from a QB needy team that falls in love with a QB, just need 1 of these QBs hype to skyrocket like Wentz did..

Sorry, you are the one spewing misinformation. And that's not what you said.
You are also over in the Buckner thread telling everyone that Clark and Rankin have more sacks than Buckner.

Whats funny is that this guy wont say who he would take if there are no trade partners willing to give up multiple picks. It is really easy to say we should just trade down and get a boat load of draft picks. However, no one knows what that pick would actually be worth in a draft where there are no elite franchise QB prospects.

I just hope we don't overthink it and take Bosa. Fill holes with free agency and hope for more developement from 2nd and 3rd year players
