I'm not convinced he'd be great in this scheme and with our current personnel. If Solly teaches you anything it's how you use a player matters. The leo wide 9 rushes constantly. We have our big ends, we need a leo. A player like Ingram is what we need.

I don't think Bosa would be a bad fit, you can make the adjustments but a different player like Polite may be a better for us.

Why can't we have both? I think its possible.

The only realistic way its possible is to trade our #1 pick in next years draft plus more. I wouldnt do that. Polite isnt going to last until the 2nd round.

Where do you think Polite will be picked? I think late first round which would not take next years first plus more at all... not even close. We basically have a second first-round pick already with how high we are drafting.

Even if Polite is a slightly better fit than Bosa, the talent level is miles apart, Bosa has plenty enough juice, and the major difference with Solly (and nearly all other prospects) is that he has multiple ways of winning.

This is a Garrett type no brainer, if he's there just walk up the card.

Food for thought as well, what happens if we do ditch Saleh either this year or next? We might want different qualities for our players. Bosa is so much more scheme diverse than anyone we could pick up.

We'll have to see how they test out but I'm guessing Garrett is more athletic. You can put him in any scheme I'm not so sure you can constant wide 9 rush Bosa to great results. He'll be ok, 10x better than Solly, but he's likely better off being played like his brother and with our personnel that may be hard.

Fair point on the scheme but even if Saleh fails we may end up just replacing him with another guy from that tree. I wouldn't take Polite straight up over him that's insane but that top pick could bring in a mega haul of picks to make up the difference in talent.

Garrett will test better, but that doesn't matter, Nick Bosa is plenty athletic enough, and whatever the gap between him and Garrett athletically Bosa makes up for in skill level.

Besides his base role doesn't matter, his job will be to get us off the field on 3rd down and to seal a game when the opponent has to drive to win.

Bosa could do for us what Jimmy did and just make everyone's job easier.
FILM & HIGHLIGHTS

I ended up watching these for about an HOUR, and the guy is very very impressive.. again, I DON'T question his NON STOP MOTOR and he does plays HUNGRY..

ALSO, I just want to say that I don't think that he sucks (like I did with Aweak ArmHurts) and I do feel that he WILL be a better player than Bucko (The Sucko),

But the bottom line is, we are watching his HIGHLIGHTS.. . of COURSE he's gonna look like THE BEST PLAYER because it's his HIGHLIGHTS!!

LET ME ASK YOU ALL THIS, Did you all see JOHN BOSA's Highlights before he was drafted??

As a 3 year old, what did you make of him?

I would have gladly handed over my teddy ruxpin to have drafted him at that time.

A serious draft trade, then.

It's still early in the process. Look how much Davenport rose and Landry fell.

Elite hands. The Bosas have some the unique natural forward lean and contact balance. It allows them to rocket out of corners.

Not sure if these bumps will show up properly but I'd say that's definitely a fit for what we need. Tho if we want to draft Bosa and get Burns in the 2nd I'd be just fine with

Bosa, Thomas, Buckner and Burns on passing downs.

I tried watching it, but got too distracted by the leather helmets.

Don't watch just highlights...

Even dominant players like Donald and Mack don't have impact plays every time the ball is snapped. Guys who win more times than not are hard to come by. Bosa is one of them.
