Why can't we have both? I think its possible.

The only realistic way its possible is to trade our #1 pick in next years draft plus more. I wouldnt do that. Polite isnt going to last until the 2nd round.

Where do you think Polite will be picked? I think late first round which would not take next years first plus more at all... not even close. We basically have a second first-round pick already with how high we are drafting.

I think he will be a top 15 pick. It will cost a lot to move up that high thats for sure.

Create a custom 49ers jersey

That's a terrific breakdown. Makes me want this dude even more.

Please let this happen...we deserve some good fortunes.

When I made this thread, I thought there was no chance in hell we would have a chance at Nick. Well, five games left and we're in the lead for him!!

I'm really liking the last few paragraphs from your quoted article!

FTA:
"Remember, Joey is a great player and will be a perennial Pro Bowler in the league. This analysis is splitting hairs between top talents and not denigrating either of them. What places Nick's talent above Joey's is what he shares with the edge-rushing superstars like Von Miller and Khalil Mack: They win early in their rush and generate a majority of their production earned from their first move.

Nick has been more consistent than his brother Joey in this regard and his explosion, strategic acumen, and variety of moves, are reasons he projects to be more consistent in the pros. A workout warrior with a blue-collar mentality who also possesses an elite physical makeup, a library of technical tools, and a rare understanding of the nuances of his position for his age, Nick is the complete package who will be a force in the NFL.

He has All-Pro potential and should become one of the best pass rushers in the league over the course of his career. If you want to compare Nick to a player, Mack is a more appropriate choice than his brother Joey."

Yeah, it's looking good for that no.1 pick. Just praying it happens.
We were willing to trade all those picks for a pass rusher in Mack. Now we won't likely win again and get a shot at another top pass rusher in Bosa. We still get to keep all the other picks too so we are much better off.

Really wish that Rams game wasn't week 17. They better not screw us and we see deja vu to losing out on Garrett. We need this!

If SF tries to win week 17 and that causes us to miss on Bosa Kyle and lynch won't hear the end of it.

If im Kyle im calling runs up the middle all game they've dealt with BS all yr one more game shouldn't matter

Ima be so pissed if we don't get the 1st. I want Nick so bad. Worse than I wanted Vernon and I was on the Vernon bandwagon early.
He's not going to be Khalil Mack. He'll end up about 20 pounds heavier and a much different athlete. But It's fair to point He's more of a speed rusher than his brother.

I jizzed a little reading this
Bosa and a good FA ER would transform this pass rush and help this defense significantly
