Common sense isn't what got Kingsburry the HC gig.

The Cardinals are starving for talent. Their best option is to unload pick 1 for a kings ransom. Giving their word to Bosa the day before would either force them to ignore potential mega offers tomorrow, or back out on Bosa and have him tell the world they lied to his face, and itll be a terrible look for the franchise.

It makes no sense for them to do this. Its very clearly bait for John Lynch, who everyone seems to know wants Bosa bad, to swap spots. They want Murray, so if they can do to Lynch what he did to Chicago, they can add another 2nd or 3rd round pick for free.

Lynch isn't going to fall for it, but they had to try.

or they just simply want the best passrusher in the draft.

I took a Wonderlic recently. It's basically a rapid fire math test. 30 questions in 6 minutes (Iirc, might have been 12 mins but either way it was way less than 30 seconds per question).

Not everyone can calculate the answers to word problems in their head that fast. So I can definitely see how someone who can get good grades in school might struggle with it.

Is it Q or Allen at #2 i know Q is a better talent but we take Allen because he plays edge...altho is an OLB....and he is great out there.

QW or trade down. We either get the best player in the draft in QW or we trade back and fill out the whole roster. I'm not one bit worried.

This team needs to upgrade multiple positions. Acquiring more picks is the one of the quickest ways to do that without over spending on the free agent market.
