I took a Wonderlic recently. It's basically a rapid fire math test. 30 questions in 6 minutes (Iirc, might have been 12 mins but either way it was way less than 30 seconds per question).
Not everyone can calculate the answers to word problems in their head that fast. So I can definitely see how someone who can get good grades in school might struggle with it.
