Don't get the comparison to Bosa at all. A DE in a 4-3 is completely different. Gary is closer to a Solomon Thomas.

Gary played 10 snaps against Seattle, had 2 tackles.
Thomas played 14 saps against Min, had 3 tackles.

Being the 49ers only attempted 9 passes against GB it's no wonder he wasn't on the field.
