I hesitate to give anyone their props who apparently becomes so single minded and spamtastic on a subject that they get booted and come back under alternate name(s) including probably now literally Rashan Gary.

That said, I haven't paid much attention. I see that he had a very good game against the Rams and had a respectable season with 5 sacks. Yes, someone who is that gifted physically may always pan out. Or they may not.

Reminds me on the flip side of former Buckeye and actually a Michigan high school kid Vernon Gholston. Had the type of body and physique most any guy would love to have and show off and was extremely fast for a guy like that as well. Wasn't always consistent in college but was far more productive than Gary. Had 8.5 sacks his junior year and 14 his senior year. Drafted by the Jets and neither he nor they could figure anything out. 3 years, 0 sacks, and he's out of the league.

So you never know of course regardless. Depends on the team and the scheme. Honestly, here I suppose Gary could have worked out. But so what? Unless one was that worried about injuries, Bosa was the far better pick last year anyway. And provided he can stay healthy moving forward with no major injuries, no one will be regretting not taking Gary #2 overall no matter if he plays really well for the rest of his career or not.

I said repeatedly I wish we had Gary over Thomas. Gary is no Bosa but he's a good athlete.

Anyone else see Gary anchoring for that sack with Kenny Clark. Cant believe we picked Bosa over him
