Underwhelmed by Rashan Gary's technique as a pass rusher. Rudimentary pass-rush plan, struggles to work half man, doesn't use his hands very well, and doesn't show many counters. He seems to have great tools, but he needs a lot of work.

He's more athlete than football player right now. Tons of talent and ridiculous athleticism but when you compare him with a Bosa or even a Bradley Chubb, the lack of polish is pretty evident.

Lots of talent, but this isn't the guy for us. Not if you want a start right now. Now if we already had an edge rusher and could afford to develop a guy further...

Based on everything I've seen of Gary, I feel the exact same way. I'm not sure if edge is even his best position. It would be the Solomon Thomas situation all over again.
