Can we sign Clay Matthews and this guy? That would be nice.

And Porter Gustin

Definitely heavily underrated.. He played good against a tough offensive line yesterday. Quality opponent first game of the season. That should help his draft stock.

Bump for Hysterikal...

So this is Wu's bias??? Or If Chase had Nick's last name he would get more recognition in the same conference...

Let's talk stats then. The stats didn't matter last year for Chase.. Chase Winovich doubled Nick Bosa's tackles last year in 1 less game and 2 more fumble recoveries..

But like Jabrill Peppers was a bust according to the haters who are not chirping that music in his thread anymore it can only be... but, but, but...

#Wu's Bias...

If you watch Chase and Nick and think they look like the same player then your watching it on a radio.

My point is stats aren't everything because if they were Chase would get the recognition he should but he doesn't.

In Don Brown aggressive defense hurries, rushes count just as much as sacks because it sets other players up. Don Brown has had a top notch defense since Boston College.

His defense are aggressive not like any other defenses especially playing man to man and no zone.

My point? Those stats Chase Winovich got last year was a product of Don Brown's defense and Rashan Gary's pressures, hurries and assist contributed to that. It's no coincidence this defense is top 5 every year with Don Brown.

Also Nick Bosa has a problem with injuries. If we putting everything on the table for Gary and Winovich we should also throw that out. He always getting hurt. That scares me above all from Nick.

I give lots of credit to Harbaugh and his ball control offense for a top ranked D. Same thing he did while he was here.

If Bosa can stay on the field, I would have no problem with him being a niner.

Injuries have been a killer for us since Baalke. That's my concern.

Chase is a Kevin Greene type player... He'll be an awesome rusher (OLB) out a 3-4 scheme, but do not ask him to cover or drop back into coverage....

Chase will be a bust in the NFL if you draft him to become a down lineman (DE) under the 4-3... He'll be too small and will never be a threat..
