He won't be in a terrible situation either. He goes to New York or Jacksonville, two teams that aren't starting from scratch in terms of offensive talent.

Plus, he has zero shot of being the first QB drafted in his draft class if he goes back to school.

He doesn't know that Herbert is the 49ers favorite QB. Quite frankly, if I were Kyle Shanahan when interviewed about the draft, I'd drone on and out about how much I love Hertbert and Haskins, and if we didn't already have 2 QB....
