I think he's a safe bet to be great for any team in the red zone. If his speed is what it looks like and route running matures, look out.

As far as I know, he has injured his foot and his neck. By WZ standards, he's already dead.
Oh yeah stay away

I mean how'd you feel about micheal Thomas in college? Avg like 50 catches and 780 yards as a starter in OSU. Not exactly the stud numbers you'd expect.
Thank you. You just proved my point. Michael Thomas went in the 2nd rd with that production, not in the 1st rd. I have no problem taking Metcalf in the 2nd rd if he slides

Box score scouting makes fools of us all. You need to look at his traits. He has the body control to run great routes, and he has great speed for his size.
1st rounders are supposed to be plug-n-play guys that can help the team immediately, not for development players unless you're an elite team like the Patriots or the Saints

Not many WRs can do s**t like this
DK Metcalf is 6-foot-4, 240 pounds and does stuff like this:pic.twitter.com/uY5xZZSxLL

Lol, I thought you we're gonna show me Metcalf catching the ball with his pinky finger while drinking gatorade blindfolded.
C'mon now, its the NFL now, that's a routinely catch in the NFL that more than half of the WRs in the league can do.

And looking back on it he should have went top 10. AJ Jenkins had 1,300 yards and 8 TDs his last yr totally worth a 1st
He's not gonna slide. WR is a very dependent position especially in college. Scheme and QB play are huge factors.

Lol yeah a one handed catch into the end zone is routine now . He's Mike Evans on steroids

Hated the A.J Jenkins pick, was never a fan of it and rightfully so.
See my thing when I scout players:
FOR THE 1ST RD ONLY are:
1. Productivity
2. Consistency
3. Dependability
4. Work Ethic
5. Character
6. Talent
All in that order, I put talent last because hard work trumps talent 9 out of 10 times.
2ND - 4TH RDS:
Productivity comes off the board and add Development after Talent. So Consistency - Development.
5TH - 7TH RDS:
Potential...
Potential.....
Potential......
Jenkins was a one hit wonder and was never on my board that year.

They're all wearing the tacky gloves that get even stickier when wet. They outlawed stickum years ago but now these wonder gloves are common. One more thing to pump up the offense and help QB's pad their stats. If they would have had these gloves back in the 80's Rice might have another 200 catches.

Catching a one handed ball 50 yards in the air over your shoulder with a guy breathing down your back is not easy to do, I don't care if you have sircky gloves.

Lol so if productivity is what matters most we should be drafting sutton smith at 2 overall.
Talent is last lol? I'm glad you're not the GM

DK Metcalf destroyed Kevin Tolliver all game long last season. 6-3, 225 lb RS freshman doing this! pic.twitter.com/O7pkhqQCco
